How do I know what is happening?

We will tell you how long it will take the police or council to respond to the job you have called about.  For example, how long it will take them to move an abandoned vehicle.

We will also give you a reference number you must keep.  If you have any more queries or want to track the progress of the work, you can redial 101, quote your reference number and the adviser will give you an update.

They won’t be able help if you don’t have your reference number. They cannot search on your name or other details to protect your personal security.
