How will 101 reflect on performance?

We will the use information from 101 to change services, target them more effectively, save money and improve performance.

Any increase in the reporting of crime and anti-social behaviour simply shows that people are requesting help more because 101 makes it easier to report,  not that things are getting worse.

The British Crime Survey continues to be the benchmark of actual crime levels across the country, and councils still monitor the level of their services using Best Value Performance Indicators.
